AKC registered Spaniel puppies are the smallest member of the sporting Group. They have a sturdy, compact body and a cleanly chiseled and refined head, with the overall dog in complete balance and of ideal size.

Cocker Spaniel Puppies

The AKC registered Cocker Spaniel puppies stand well up at the shoulder on straight forelegs with a topline sloping slightly toward strong, moderately bent, muscular quarters. The Cocker Spaniel is a dog capable of considerable speed, combined with great endurance. Above all, he must be free and merry, sound, well balanced throughout and in action show a keen inclination to work, these points hold up well in dog shows. A dog well balanced in all parts is more desirable than a dog with strongly contrasting good points and faults.
Many breeders are very experienced with the breeding and raising of AKC registered Spaniel puppies. These Cocker Spaniels are usually bred and raised as friendly family pets or show dogs, this is mainly because they have very little or no place in fields such as law enforcement where other breeds of dog are superior. Nevertheless, the Cocker Spaniel and AKC registered Spaniel puppies make brilliant house pets and companions for almost any family home.

Websites such as Quality Dogs provide the information for many breeders and AKC registered Spaniel puppies which are for sale.
The breeders post their contact details such as a telephone number or an email address which allows potential buyers to get in touch with them regarding the litter of puppies.
AKC registered Spaniel puppies are more desirable than puppies which are not registered with anyone, this is usually because the puppy has individual records and may be entitled to free booster shots or worming check ups. Using the AKC registration as an advertising tool usually gets more attention that saying the puppies are not registered.
